GUIDELINES FOR RECEIVING THE CANINE
RADIATION HYBRID PANEL

Thank you for your interest in using the RHDF5000 panel DNA in your genomics study.

  • It is our goal to have the RHDF5000 panel serve as an international standard. Through its wide distribution, researchers will be able to quickly map specific genes, ESTs and other genetic markers. In order for you to use the RHDF5000 panel we have developed the following guidelines.

    (1) If the number of markers you want to map exceed 50, we propose to send you the DNA and you will map yourself your markers. The data will be computed in Rennes based on a collaborative agreement.

    (2) If the number of markers you want to map is below 50, in order to save as much as possible the DNA, we propose to do the mapping in Rennes and to provide you with the data after mutual agreement.

    In both cases, while you will be able to use the positions of your favorite markers for your own research, Rennes will keep the right to incorporate those in the map in progress at Rennes. You will not be yourself considered as co-authors.

    A Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) must be completed prior to the shipment of RHDF5000 panel DNA. A hardcopy with institutional signatures is required prior to the distribution of DNA.
