Legend :
For 403 OR canine sequences, the regions encompassing TM2 and EC2 were
aligned, and a phylogram was constructed.
This identified 51 families and 202 subfamilies. In common with human and
mouse, the canine OR families are separated into two classes.
Classes I and II are composed of 10 and 41 families respectively.
Each family contains between 1 and 35 genes, representing between 1 and 11
subfamilies.
